From one mother to another, we are creating a better, greener world that can celebrate homes, hearth, and happiness one baby product at a time. To our greener Earth, many more smiles and cuddles!

Our story is a collective narrative of all the makers whose shared efforts culminate in a beautiful legacy. Handmade is a celebration of our contemporary lives and our living culture.

When my daughter was born in 2016, I realized the importance of natural and organic products. This belief became the requisite of the MulberryLoom journey. Earth is being exploited, for real and we have to do our bit, otherwise, its impact will be irreversible.

In the age of all things, readymade and environment insensitivity, we at Mulberry Loom look up to nature for design and product inspiration and seek to share items that resonate all the awe-inspiring and magnificent elements of mother nature.

Dreamer!

I am Tanya, maker and designer behind MulberryLoom. If I sum up myself in a few words it will be, a mother, mostly dreamer, and little creator.

I’m shy and a quiet person (like all dreamers maybe ). I am a believer in fairytales and magic.

Oh and yes I take pride in my culinary skills and being a loving wife. I enjoy spending time with my toddler & fur baby. I love to dream of a better place for everyone.

I quit KPMG and pursued my dream.

My love for Indian crafts, slow fashion, handwoven fabrics, and minimalism found expression in @MulberryLoom.  It is an honest attempt to share my craft & love with the rest of the world.

Things I Love

Bit More

From a very early age, I was intrigued by my mother's sewing machine and dressmaking, and I used to learn from her and then I hand-stitched dresses from leftover fabrics. Once adulthood came in, this curiosity and enthusiasm to do hand stitching slowly got tucked away in a closet.

While my love for fabric and hand stitching kept nudging my heart, my day job and the vicious cycle of financial security kept me away for a long time. Until one day, I quit my job at the accounting major KPMG, enrolled in a fashion design course and decided that from here on I will only do what my heart desires.

After my daughter's birth, my quest for organic, eco-friendly and natural handwoven fabrics began. On my daughter's first birthday I wanted to give her the most comfortable blanket which would last for more than a year. After a month of work, I was able to quilt the blanket for my daughter that gave her all the love, warmth & comfort.  This is how

I am trying to connect with others through my art and to make this better place by creating awareness through slow fashion and minimalism. This is how I find the fulfilment of my life’s journey. Here’s to making the world a better place, one step at a time
